The Special Assistant, SA to Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State on Media, Ebere Ania Adaolaedo has emphasized that People’s Democratic Party, PDP’s road walk, which took place on Friday, was only aimed at revealing the Party’s desperate move towards seeking an unavailable political relevance, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

She noted that Ebonyi being an APC-led state cannot join issues with a gathering of seemingly lost political desperados, whose objective was to play to the gallery and deceive the unsuspecting members of the public.

The SA who stated this when a group of Journalists sought her opinion on the development in Abakaliki explained that the Governor has more important matters to border himself with rather than banter words with a Party that has lost followership, goodwill and political relevance in the state.

According to her, there’s relative peace in Ebonyi State and people should learn to appreciate the efforts of the Governor in that direction.

“Yesterday’s road walk by PDP is a mere display by a party that is seeking an unavailable political relevance and dominance in Ebonyi State. APC is the ruling and ever dominant Party in the State and that is an irreversible fact.”

She further stated that the present administration in the State remains accommodative and humanistic towards the plight of all Ebonyi indigenes, irrespective of party affiliation.

Ania warned politicians at all levels to stop deceiving the youths of the state for their own selfish political gains, which according to her, will not lead them to anywhere politically and otherwise.

She emphasized that APC will win Ebonyi State convincingly without any Local Government Area falling into the hands of the opposition political parties in the State .

“We are confident as a government that APC will win because the Governor has done so much for State, in terms of youth development, infrastructure, security, health, economic empowerment, among others.

“Our campaigns will soon commence and it is going to be issue-based. If you want to rule Ebonyi State, you have live in Ebonyi State, eat with Ebonyi people, and feel the pulse of Ebonyi people at close range. If you want to rule a people, you have to be close to them to be able to know them and rule them, accordingly.

“People who come once in while into Ebonyi State only for political reasons do not have a place in the Democratic governance of Ebonyi State. If they get power, we might not see them again. We need people like Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru who know the people. He is close to the people and they know him.

“The greatest risk in 2027 is for Ebonyi people to give power to someone who only comes to Ebonyi after every four years to contest an election. Ebonyi people are wiser than yesterday. We have to take our destinies into our own hands and vote for our own son, Rt.Hon. builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, who understands the dynamics of leadership and yearnings of Ebonyi people.”
