Ogah Pledges Continued Support for Gov Nwifuru, Urges Constituents to stand United

The member representing Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, OON, has reaffirmed his unwavering support for the leadership of Ebonyi State Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. Ogah, who also serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, urged the people of Igbudu Ward 1 to align with the governor’s vision for progress and development in the state.

Speaking to a large crowd at the Agubia Central Park, Ikwo, during his ward tour over the weekend, Ogah highlighted the importance of peace and unity within the community, emphasizing that it is the foundation for sustainable development.

During the event, Ogah listed several empowerment initiatives and democratic dividends he has facilitated for the ward, including the installation of four 300 KVA transformers, the provision of over 40 motorcycles to youth and women, and the distribution of fertilizers and other farm inputs to local farmers. Additionally, he noted the installation of street lights and other infrastructure improvements.

The lawmaker praised the peaceful atmosphere Governor Nwifuru has fostered in the state and urged the community to fully support the governor’s administration, describing him as a leader with a clear mission for Ebonyi’s future.

Speakers at the event expressed their gratitude for Ogah’s contributions, acknowledging the positive impact his leadership has had on the community. They also called for continued efforts to bring more benefits to the ward, stating, “We appreciate Hon. Ogah’s effective representation, but we appeal for more dividends of democracy in our area.”

The event was attended by notable political and community leaders, including the Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, represented by his Personal Assistant, Comrade Monday Anyigor; the Commissioner, National Christian Pilgrimage, Chief Clement Nweke; the Commissioner for Border, Peace and Conflict Resolution, Dr. Donatus Ilang; APC Youth Leader, Comrade Ogbonnaya Aloh; and others.
