The Coordinator of Ngbo Central Development Centre (DC), Hon. Mrs. Adagba Blessing, has publicly detailed her administration’s key achievements within her two years in office.
She made these known during an interaction with the press on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
Mrs. Adagba’s tenure, which followed the emergence of Governor Francis Nwifuru, has been marked by a relentless pursuit of grassroots needs focusing on areas of neglect such as health, water and roads.
“There was this community, Ndiagu-Eshi, Okposhi Ngbo that complained earlier during the campaign that they hadn’t benefited from the government of the state,” Coordinator Adagba recalled.

“I appealed with them to write to the government, so they requested for a hospital and light, as the transformer they had in the community was just for fancy.”
She disclosed that upon her appointment, she moved swiftly to deliver on that promise. She ensured the community’s request became a reality.
“By God’s grace, and I was appointed the Coordinator, I was able to fix the transformer and equally build a hospital for them,” she stated.
Beyond healthcare, access to clean water was another silent crisis she tackled head-on. She recognized the daily struggle of water scarcity faced in some communities.
“I equally drilled two boreholes in communities where they lack water,” she confirmed, offering two communities immediate relief and a reliable source of potable water.
She disclosed that the commitment to community welfare began right at the Development center, where she first renovated the development center’s office, working on the roof and painting the building.
“I have graded a three-kilometer road, and also worked on the road leading to this development center because it is usually flooded during the rainy season and difficult for motors to ply,” she reported.
She also pointed out direct welfare support: “I paid bursary for 200 students, and I equally gave palliative to 200 women.”
Coordinator Adagba attributed her success and the enabling environment to the current state administration.
“The government of Governor Nwifuru is different, he is doing very well to meet the needs and welfare of the people,” she concluded.
