‘Be Patient with Tinubu’-Senator Ani Appeals, Empowers Constituents

The representing Ebonyi South Senatorial Zone, Prof. Anthony Okorie Ani has urged Nigerians to remain patient with President Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, assuring that the President’s policies will soon yield positive results.

Speaking at an empowerment event in Onicha Local Government Area, where he distributed over 1,000 bags of fertilizer to farmers and 65 motorcycles to youths, Senator Ani reiterated his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to his constituents while advocating for continued support for the current administration.

He explained that the motorcycles are intended not only to empower the youth but also to ease transportation challenges in rural areas where vehicles cannot easily access.

“The only way to come out of economic gridlock is to be fully engaged in agriculture,” Senator Ani stated. “And the only way to boost agriculture is through fertilizer, giving it the manure it requires so that it will do well.”

Senator Ani outlined some of the constituency projects he has attracted to the zone, including the construction of 5km of roads in each of the five local government areas of Ebonyi South Senatorial District and the installation of solar-powered streetlights across various communities.

In addition to these projects, the Senator mentioned the facilitation of employment placements for several constituents in key federal government agencies.
Adding “support to our farmers and economic empowerment of women and youths, some of which included the 65 Nos of Motorcycles that have been given out today. We have also facilitated employment placements of many people from our Zone into key federal government agencies,just to mention a few”.He said.

“Also, in the coming months, we shall be launching our educational support programme and digital tech skills drive among our teeming young population.Digital technology skill is a key requirement for survival in today’s world and we are embracing it squarely to ensure that our young people are sufficiently equipped to fit into the 21st century society”. He added.

Professor Ani also called on Nigerians to remain patient with President Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, assuring them that the President means well for the country. He expressed confidence that the policies being instituted would soon yield positive results, and Nigerians would eventually “sing songs of praises” for the President.
