BREAKING: Tinubu Approves N2.17 Trillion Supplementary Budget.

President Bola Tinubu has officially approved the 2023 Supplementary Budget, totaling N2.17 trillion, by signing it into law. The signing ceremony took place at his office in the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday. Present to witness this significant event were Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas.

Other key figures who were in attendance during the signing ceremony included Senate Leader Sen Opeyemi Bamidele, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance Sen Olamilakan Adeola, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Atiku Bagudu, and Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service Zachs Adedeji.

The 2023 Supplementary Budget has been introduced to bolster the expenditures outlined in the 2023 budget previously endorsed by the immediate past President, Muhammadu Buhari.
