The Member Representing Ohaozara West Constituency in Ebonyi State House of Assemly and Chairman House Committee on Park and Market Development Hon Onu Ukpai has maintained that the conducive environment provided by the State House of Assemly to perform creditabily well in the past one year which resulted into passage of motions, and laws.
Hon Onu Ukpai who was baring his mind on one year in office of Ebonyi State Goverrnor His Excellency RT Hon Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru added that Ebonyi State House of Assemly with its 7th Assembly has remained the most peaceful and result_oriented Assemly throughout the Federation as debates were being held without any prejudice.
The lawmaker Commended the State Goverrnor Chief Francis Nwifuru for prompt acting on every laws passed by the House of Assemly which has in turn resulted into the rapid development of the state.
He mentioned some of the projects to include the construction of roads, aggressive integrated agricultural revolution, portable water supply, increase in workers salaries, delivery of qaulitative healthcare among others.
Hon Onu Ukpai eulogized the sterling leadership qualities inherent in Her Excellency Chief Mrs Mary_Maudline Ukamaka Nwifuru as she has taken BERWO programme to the door steps of downtrodden making them feel the impact of the administration in the state as anchored in the People’s Charter of Needs Mantra of the Goverrnor.
Hon Ukpai equally applauded the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assemly RT Hon Moses Ije Odunwa for the way he has been piloting the affairs the Assemly adding that the brotherliness and open door policy being adopted by the Speaker, the 7th Assemly has been able to pass various laws that positively impact on the people and at same time allowed the members to be fully involved in thier respective oversight function.
He then assured people of Ohaozara West Constituency of continuous able and good representation and urged them to continue supporting the present administration which has vowed to transform the state .
