Independence: Commissioner for Transport and Special Projects,Igboke Congratulates Gov. Nwifuru

The commissioner for Transport and Special project has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, on the occasion of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary and the 28th anniversary of Ebonyi State’s creation.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Honourable Commissioner, Prince Igboke Emeka Collins, and made available to SpeingNews.

The goodwill message, which also celebrated the governor’s wife, Mrs. Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru, and their family, highlighted Governor Nwifuru’s exceptional leadership in the state.

The commissioner lauded the governor’s dedication to the people, particularly his commitment to the People’s Charter of Needs policy, which has brought numerous benefits to Ebonyians.

These include improved remuneration for state workers, the recruitment of over 1,500 workers, including medical personnel, and the settlement of long-standing pension arrears.

Additionally, the commissioner commended the governor’s efforts in transforming the state’s transport sector. He praised the introduction of luxurious buses for worker and student transportation, as well as the recent approval for 20 more buses for EBOTRANS, describing these measures as key to stabilizing the sector.

Hon. Igboke also extended his congratulations to the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Princess Patricia Obila, the Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Ije Odunwa, members of the House, and the state’s Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Elvis Ngene, alongside his colleagues.
