Major General Hassan Dada, who serves as the Force Commander of the Joint Task Force (JTF) Southeast in Imo, known as “Operation Udo Ka,” recently conducted a decoration ceremony for two army officers who were promoted in Imo.
The brief decoration event took place at the JTF headquarters in Obinze, Owerri, on Thursday. The two officers, Major R. Wikimor and Major F. U. Umar, both received promotions to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Dada, who also holds the position of General Officer Commanding (GOC) 82 Division of the Nigerian Army in Enugu, congratulated the newly promoted officers and described their advancements as well-deserved.
He expressed gratitude for their accomplishments and wished them continued success in life. Dada commended their dedication to their duties and credited God for their promotions.
Dada encouraged the officers to justify their promotions through hard work, loyalty, and commitment to the Nigerian Army and the nation. He reminded them that with higher rank comes increased responsibilities, but with the support of their families and divine guidance, they have the potential to achieve great success.
