Okposi Community Lauds Anuagata DC Coordinator for Bridge Construction

The people of Enu Nwobasi village, Okposi Okwu in Anuagata Development Centre, Ohaozara Local Government Area has paid an appreciation visit to the Coordinator of Anuagata Development Centre, Comr. John Osi at the Development Centre Headquarters, Obodo-oma Okposi-Okwu.

In his speech during the visit, the village Chairman, Chief Theophilus Ogbonnaya-ugwu said the visit was in appreciation to the Coordinator for constructing Ogba eba bridge which links the village with neighboring villages stating that the deplorable nature of the bridge before the intervention of Comr. Osi made it a dead trap to the people of the area.

Others including a Palace cabinet member, Chief James Okorie-Okike, the youth president of Enu Nwabosi, Comr. Obinnaya Chukwu-Akpa as well as the village secretary, Okike Nwachukwu-Aja all eulogized the Coordinator of Anuagata Development Centre, Comr. John Osi describing him a young vibrant leader who has done well in the area of infrastructure and empowerment of the the people of the area, requesting him to continue his good works.

Reacting, the Coordinator of Anuagata Development Centre, Comr. John Osi said he has constructed six different bridges and culverts within the centre, empowered the youths, women and the less privileged, pays school fees for indigent students, payment of hospital bills of indigent patients among other laudable achievements, pointing out that those gestures is in line with people’s charter of needs mantra of the state Governor, Chief Francis Nwifuru whom he said appointed him to be the driver of his good leadership in state to the people of Anuagata Development Centre.

He thanked the people of Enu Nwabosi village for the visit stating that the visit will spur him to do more for the good of the people of the area.

He thanked the state Governor Chief Francis Nwifuru for his support and encouragements to Development Centres in the state which he said is the reason they are embarking on meaningful projects.
