Rep Ogah Offers Free JAMB, WAEC Registration to Students in Constituency

In a remarkable show of commitment to educational development, the Member of the Federal House of Representatives for Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt. Hon. (Comrade) Chinedu Ogah, OON, has approved free registration for the 2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination for all intending candidates from his constituency.

The lawmaker also extended this gesture to cover the registration of 1,000 candidates for the 2025 West African Examination Council (WAEC) examination and another 1,000 candidates for the 2025 National Examination Council (NECO) registration.

In addition, Ogah launched a comprehensive free education program for 200 orphans and underprivileged secondary school students from Ikwo and Ezza South Local Governments. This program covers all educational expenses, including tuition, meals, accommodation, uniforms, textbooks, and boarding fees, ensuring that deserving students can pursue their academics without financial strain.

Speaking to journalists, Ogah emphasized his support for the education initiatives of Ebonyi State Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. ” I like what the governor of Ebonyi state is doing in the education sector having sent people abroad for further studies”

” I wish also to inform students from Ikwo/Ezza-South constituency who wish to write JAMB, that the registration is free”

” I am forming a committee that would liaise with Ebonyi State Commissioner for education, Hon. Dr. Onyebuchi Chima for collection of data and further payment of the fees ” Ogah said.

He announced a committee who would oversee the implementation of this educational scheme, including;
