Considering that effective communication is one of the key measures of growth and development and as a lover of fairness and a decent environment, I embarked on this multi million naira project.
“This project though a business outfit has helped in saving our people from the stress and dangers of running to our sister states to express themselves freely and decently. At a point, it looked like Ebonyians are only heard outside the state because of lack of free and fair media outfit from within especially in electronic broadcasting. This is one of the reasons I had this dream which birthed Legacy FM and soon to come Legacy television. Through this media outfits, Ebonyi people can now tell their own story by themselves.
“As I speak, over forty Ebonyi youths have been gainfully employed as bona fide staff of the Legacy FM. This is our humble contribution to the social service and upliftment of humanity. This station will offer unadulterated balanced journalism to the government and people of Ebonyi state,South East and other zones of our reach.
” The station is run with a state of the art DigiTech equipment with a modern sound card projector for quality production. Suffice it to say that while thunderstorms associated with heavy rainfall send many radio to sleep, Legacy FM powers on and on;non stop.
“My appreciation goes to God and the National Broadcasting Commission particularly Enugu zonal office for their unwavering support and encouragement .”
