Sisters Fellowship International Donates Traffic Booth to Police in Ebonyi

A non-denominational organization, Sisters Fellowship International (SFI), has donated a traffic booth to the Nigeria Police Force in Ebonyi State.

The event, which took place on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Union Bank Roundabout, Abakaliki, aims to provide shelter for traffic officers from harsh weather conditions, ensuring their comfort while on duty.

Speaking at the event, the Supervisory Area President (SAP) of SFI, Abakaliki City, Dr. Mrs Nnenna Oluchi Ibiam, emphasized the need for encouraging the Security agencies, as Security should be every body’s business.

She noted that Sisters Fellowship International’s focus, extends beyond spiritual growth to actively supporting the wellbeing of the wider community, including the police, who work tirelessly to maintain peace and order.

“SFI has always prioritized love and appreciation, as its core mandate; demonstrated in the donation of this booth to help ensure that traffic officers are protected from rain and sunshine as they serve the people of Ebonyi State,”

She further disclosed that “Sisters Fellowship International SFI has the commission and mandate from God, to impact the Nations of the world with the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ for a purposed and fulfilled life on Earth. Our great vision is to see the whole earth filled with the glory of God.”

SFI, under the leadership of the International President and Founder, Rev. Mrs. Nches Iredu, has carried out this mandate globally.

Sharing Rev. Iredu’s personal faith journey of primary infertility, Dr. Ibiam, stated “Mummy prayed for biological/spiritual children and dedicated her life to the service of God and was eventually blessed accordingly. Today, the ministry has grown globally, with over 30 chapters in Ebonyi State alone.”

According to her, SFI Abakaliki City, in her 2024 exploits has achieved notable feats in such areas as Medical Outreach and Skill Acquisition .

“We thank God for the just concluded ‘Month of Exploits’ and for what He is doing in our lives individually and the City at large,” The SAP added.

“Sisters Fellowship International in winding up her 2024 exploits, decided to graciously extend this love and appreciation, to the Police for dedicating their services in ensuring the protection of lives and property of citizens in Ebonyi State.”

In her response, the Commissioner of Police, CP Augustina Ogbodo, ably represented by DCP Muhammed Alahji Muhammed, expressed profound gratitude to the Sisters Fellowship.

He stated that, “This is a rare gesture” and noted that this is the first of its kind since he arrived Ebonyi State.

“Since my arrival in Ebonyi state, this is the first time a voluntary organization has shown such appreciation to the Nigerian Police Force. On behalf of the Commissioner of Police and the entire force, we say thank you,” he stated.
