The Super Eagles have landed in Rwanda ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Zimbabwe on Sunday.
The players and their officials took off from the Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo on Friday night.
After a three-hour and 30-minute flight from Uyo, the contingent touched down in Kigali in the early hours of Saturday morning. Following their arrival, they embarked on a two-hour road trip to the city of Butare, where the Huye Stadium, the designated venue for the upcoming game, is situated.
Later tonight, the Super Eagles will get a firsthand experience of the Huye Stadium in preparation for Sunday’s encounter.
The scheduled kickoff time for the match is 2 pm Nigeria time on Sunday.
