The Member Representing Ohaozara East Constituency in Ebonyi State House of Assembly and Chairman House Committee on Power Hon Chikezie Igu Nwankwo has affirmed that the present administration in the State under the leadership of His Excellency Rt Hon Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has been preoccupied with bringing succor to Ebonyi People as it has concerned itself with the Infrastructure and human capital development.
Hon Igu made this known at his country home Mgbom Ugwulengwu in Ohaozara Local Government while disbursing gifts worth millions of Naira to his people as part of the Christmas and New year celebration.
The Lawmaker said that Goverrnor Nwifuru having served in different capacities in governance of the State have the experience of administration and the zeal to have Ebonyi developed through his People’s Charter of Needs Programme and urged people to give him an unflinching supports
Hon Chikezie Igu maintained that the event was meant to appreciate his constituents for the supports given to him so far especially during his election as the member representing Ohaozara East State Constituency.
He assured the people of a continuous able representation in the state House of Assembly by attracting social amenities to the area.
In their separate speeches the APC Chairman Ugbogologo ward Chief Okereke Nwigbo, and APC Chairman Achara ward Mr Okorie Wilson Anayo said that Hon Chikezie Igu has been complying with the manifestoes of the party which are aimed at putting smiles on the faces of the people and that his achievements so far has justified his victory at the polls.
Also , woman leader Ugbogologo Ward Mrs Precious Igboke and the APC Chairman Ene na Ezereku Ward Chief Sir Peter Obasi maintained that the state lawmaker Hon Chikezie Igu has laid a precedence for rapid development of the area as he has equally ensured a new dawn of democratic experience.
Items given to the Constituents includes bags of rice, and cash among other items.
