The competent Special Assistant, SA, on Media to Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi state, Ebere Ania Adaolaedo has graciously donated the sum of N1m to support the re-election bid of the one number citizen of the State.
She explained that her boss needed all the support he could get ahead of the 2027 general election stressing that there’s no vacancy in Ebonyi state Government House for any other person, apart from Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
Ania who appreciated the Governor for all his laudable initiatives geared towards the development of the state and empowerment of all Ebonyi indigenes, at home and abroad added that next year’s general election will be a walk-over for the Governor and the ruling APC in the State.
The SA stated this during an extraordinary meeting of the stakeholders of Urban New Layout Ward II, Ebonyi Local Government Area, L.G.A of the state.
The donation, which was made at the Ward level, was equally meant to encourage the member representing Ebonyi North East State Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon Chinyere Nwaogbaga, in her ongoing constituency projects for her people.
Hon. Adaolaedo further explained that the donation was both symbolic and a substantive endorsement of Governor Nwifuru’s “people-oriented programmes and policies” and his unwavering commitment towards the infrastructural development of Ebonyi state.
“Our Governor has been doing his best to ensure that development trickles from the capital city, the L.G.A, down to the Ward level. His developmental initiatives are commendable and recommendable. He is truly the best.
“All hands must be on deck to ensure his victory at the polls come 2027. I am here to categorically state that even at the Ward level no stone will be left unturned for his re-election. We have endorsed him at Urban New Layout Ward II, Ebonyi Local Government Area, L.G.A of the state and we will continue to stand by him.” She added
Also, the Member representing Ebonyi North East, Hon. Chinyere Nwogbaga added that the purpose of the meeting was to enable her notify the Ward of the state Government’s intervention projects, which include, the citing and drilling of a borehole earmarked for Urban New Layout Ward II.
Presiding over the deliberations, the Councilor of the Ward, Hon. Okpokwu Uchechukwu Anthony, expressed profound gratitude to the apex leadership of the LGA, particularly the Executive Chairman, Hon. Chibueze Odigwe, whose visionary stewardship has continued to assist governance at the Ward.
He described Hon. Nwogbaga as a “trailblazer of purposeful representation,” for utilizing her position to attract visible projects for the Ward
“It is a testament to the fact that when representation is intentional, the dividends are tangible.”
The members and stakeholders of the Ward unanimously resolved to use every legitimate means available to ensure the delivery of Governor Francis Nwifuru come 2027.
