2027: JEK Movement Steps Up Mobilisation

The JEK Movement has intensified its political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections, with its leadership and grassroots representatives embarking on a strategic outing to strengthen coordination across Afikpo and Edda Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State.

The movement, led by its National Coordinator, Prince Prosper Ekumankama, alongside the National Secretary, Hon. Barr. Enyinnaya Eni, and other executives representing various local government areas and wards, undertook the outing on Saturday.

A major highlight was the escort of the movement’s principal, Hon. Barr. Joseph Ekumankama, to a strategic meeting at the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat.

The delegation later proceeded to a private venue for further deliberations involving Ekumankama, the movement’s leadership and other key executives.

According to the movement, the engagements were aimed at strengthening internal coordination, consolidating its grassroots structure and advancing its political objectives ahead of the 2027 elections.

The outing also featured the presentation of a customised exercise book to Ekumankama as a birthday gift. The book was part of 1,000 customised exercise books produced by the movement.

Presenting the commemorative item, Prince Prosper Ekumankama said the gesture reflected the movement’s commitment to celebrating its principal while promoting educational support and community engagement.

The JEK Movement said it had commenced deliberate mobilisation efforts in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru, Ebonyi South senatorial candidate Senator Michael Ani, and Ekumankama, who is seeking election to represent Afikpo and Edda Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

The movement also pledged to mobilise support for APC candidates contesting House of Assembly seats across the constituency.

With executives and representatives operating at the local government and ward levels, the movement said it was working to expand its grassroots reach, strengthen political engagement and coordinate its activities ahead of the elections.

The Saturday outing, according to the movement, formed part of its broader strategy to translate its political objectives into coordinated grassroots action.

The report was issued by the National Coordinator’s Media Team of the JEK Movement.
