APC Backs Kenneth Eze for Second Term in Ebonyi Central Senate Race

 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has settled for Engr Kenneth Eze as its consensus candidate for the Ebonyi Central Senatorial District, following a show of unity among party leaders and elders.

In a press statement on Wednesday, Senator Eze, a first-term senator representing Ebonyi Central, expressed gratitude to Governor Francis Ogbanna Nwifuru, party chairman Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, and other leaders for their support.

Eze acknowledged the role of former Governor Chief Martin Elechi and immediate past Governor Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi in promoting peace and unity within the party.

He also thanked his co-aspirant, Arch. Dr. Asaga Nwali, for the spirit of unity, saying “there is no victor and no vanquished” as they work towards advancing Ebonyi Central.

Eze pledged to deliver effective legislative representation, consolidate gains, and drive development in infrastructure, human capital, and empowerment.

“No Victor, No Vanquished. We are One People with One Purpose,” Eze stated, calling for continued unity and cooperation.

Recall that the Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru, convened a stakeholders meeting of APC on Tuesday where Aspirants for different political positions were reconciled to pave way for consensus arrangement for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The reconciliation meeting held in different locations for the three senatorial zones of the State.

The meeting for Ebonyi Central zone took place at Re-meritona hotel,Abakaliki.
