Hon. Ambassador Azubuike Lawal Agu, Ebonyi State House of Assembly candidate and consensus flagbearer of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Afikpo North East Constituency in the 2023 General Election, has strongly condemned the recent collapse of a storey building in Abakaliki belonging to Hon. Ukie Ezeali, the APC candidate representing the same constituency.
In an address made available to the press, he stated “we sympathize with our esteemed Hon. Ukie Ezeali for this unfortunate and unforeseen incident.”
“Dear brother, You are a good man, and no evil shall befall you.
Hon. Ukie Ezeali formerly served as Commissioner of Project Monitoring and Evaluation.
“Therefore, we believe he would not have engaged the services of unskilled or unprofessional builders for his personal projects.”
“It is imperative that the media and reporters do not undermine Hon. Ukie Ezeali’s professionalism and extensive experience by suggesting he employed unqualified builders.”
“During his tenure, Hon. Ukie directly supervised and monitored various projects in Ebonyi State, including flyovers and buildings, without incident.
“We, at the SDP White Horse House, Afikpo, solemnly pray to God, the All-Seeing, to come to Hon. Ukie Ezeali’s aid.”
Hon. Azubuike Lawal Agu adds, “My brother, please be strong. Greater things are coming your way.”
