The Member representing Ikwo/ Ezza-South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. (Comrade) Chinedu Ogah OON, has attracted dignitaries including, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senators Anyim Pius Anyim, Obinna Ogba to the commissioning of his constituency projects.
Anyim who commissioned a civic cultural center at Ukwuachi Amagu Ikwo described the lawmaker as a man of vision, noting that the Civic Center would be a good atmosphere for the community to deliberate on critical issues affecting them.
“Amagu Cultural Center, which is also the ancestral home Amegu Ikwo people would henceforth serve as a place of happiness, settling of dispute, thereby bringing unity to the people of the Community”. Anyim said.
Also, the federal lawmaker Ogah handed over Skill Acquisition Center at Edukwuedo Tall Hall, Item Amagu, Umuomara Kindred Town Hall at Abina, Two bungalow house built for aged woman at Akunakuna and 500KV Transformer.
The two times lawmaker while commissioning the projects, said he built the town halls to bring people of different community together, to discuss important issues and share information and feedback that would bring peace coexistence.
He equally executed the foundation ground laying of Area Command Headquarters in Ndiegu Amegu in Ikwo Local Government Area, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru General Hospital, and Ground laying of Enyinwegu Civil Center at Effimgbabu.
In his speech, the Immediate past Senator who represented Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone, Obinna Ogba affirmed that Ogah has built and donated a lot to the people of the constituency.
Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Uzoamaka Nwifuru, the Wife of Ebonyi State governor, represented by the Commissioner for Women affairs, Hon. Mrs Felicia Nwamkpuma, equally Commissioned skill Acquisition with Solar Energy supply at Itemu Amagu in Ikwo south development center.
In his separate responses, Ogah charged the different communities to protect the Civic Centers against any form of vandalism, he appreciated them for their unalloyed support since his inception of office.
Other personalities present during the inauguration of the projects included: Chief Mrs Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru, Speaker, Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Moses ije Odunwa, (represented), Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, Sen. Obinna Ogba, Barr. Eric Kelechi Igwe, Hon. Dr. Ilang Donatus, among other heavyweights.
