Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Ebonyi State chapter on Sunday paid a courtesy call to the member representing Ikwo/ Ezza-South Federal Constituency, who is also Chairman, House Committee on Reformatory Institutions at the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Comrade) Chinedu Ogah OON, in his Abakaliki residence.
The Association was led by the newly Speaker- Elect, Comrade Igwe Basil Chidimma.
Expressing his satisfaction on his leadership milestone, the leader of the group, Igwe said they deemed it crucial to make a familiarization visit, to congratulate him as a group after the State election that took place weeks ago.
Also, for the lawmaker to know the State Executives cut across the 13 Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, although two local governments are yet to be captured.
“I commend and appreciate, Hon. Ogah for his indefatigable leadership and transformation in Ikwo/ Ezza South Federal Constituency.
He further said that the federal lawmaker has been an active patron of the Association and having conducted the State election few weeks ago, it is important to pay him a homage.
Igwe intimated the lawmaker the forthcoming Local Government election of the association, while he sought for the support and guidance of the lawmaker.
The association vowed to support the lawmaker anytime and the administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru come what may.
In his remark, Ogah thanked them for such love and guided solidarity visit. He pleaded with them to work according to the directives of the leadership of the association.
He advised them not to engage in social vices that will hamper the administration of our dear governor and that they should practice any skill that would propel the youth to an enviable height..
Ogah urged them to shun politics of bitterness, and hatred, and avoid gossiping with each other, in other to gain favor.
“Don’t boast that you have arrived because other opportunities are waiting for you but you must work hard by carrying your people along at all times. God can bless anybody, any day”.
Lawmaker Ogah reciprocated the good gesture and offered them his prayers in their leadership endeavors.
