Nigerian music star Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has declared that he may never forgive his twin brother, Peter Okoye, saying the rift between them runs far deeper than the collapse of their celebrated music group, P-Square.
The singer said the breakdown of their relationship is rooted in issues of family, trust and betrayal, insisting that the emotional wounds remain too deep to ignore despite repeated public calls for reconciliation.
Opening up on the long-running family dispute, Rudeboy disclosed that he was left heartbroken by events he never expected from someone he described as his own blood. According to him, the disagreement is not about music or business but about personal experiences that permanently damaged the bond they once shared.
He said he deliberately chose silence on several occasions to shield the family’s reputation from further public scrutiny, even as speculation over their relationship continued to dominate conversations among fans.
While many supporters still dream of seeing P-Square reunite, Rudeboy maintained that rebuilding the relationship would require much more than public appeals for peace, stressing that broken trust cannot be restored overnight.
The singer added that his focus has shifted to raising his children, pursuing personal growth and advancing his music career, noting that protecting his peace of mind now takes precedence over everything else.
“I don’t think I can forgive my twin brother. What happened is something I never expected from my own blood. The problem is not music. It’s deeper than that. It’s about family, trust and betrayal. I have remained silent on several occasions in the past to protect the family’s image. Some actions leave permanent scars. Peace of mind now takes priority over everything else,” Rudeboy said.
