The Board Member representing Ebonyi North zone in Ebonyi State Health Insurance Agency, EBSHIA, Mrs. Joy-fidelis Nwifuru has stated that the beneficiaries of EBSHIA decided to endorse Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru because of how he has affected their lives positively.
In an interview during the endorsement of Governor Nwifuru at Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki, the Board Member explained that the Governor will do more in the health sector as Ebonyians give him their votes come 2027.
According to Mrs. Joy Fidelis Nwifuru, the beneficiaries are so happy and pleased with the achievements and investments the Governor has made in the health sector.
She said: “We have so many beneficiaries across the 13 Local Government Areas of Ebonyi State. The endorsement of today is a clear testament of how the Governor has made meaningful impacts in the lives of Ebonyi people.
“EBSHIA has been able to deliver qualitative and sustainable service delivery to the people of the State. Can you can imagine that an Agency such as EBSHIA is involved in carrying out free surgeries and treatments to all and sundry, irrespective of tribe, religion and even political affiliation.
“Nwifuru’s government is truly the government of the people, by the people and for the people. I can authoritatively say that different categories of persons have benefited from the medical ingenuity and outreaches put in place by EBSHIA, including the less privileged and downtrodden in the society.
She used the opportunity to appreciate Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for putting smiles on the faces of EBSHIA’ beneficiaries and also for making the health sector vibrant and result-oriented.
“I want to also appreciate the Executive Secretary of EBSHIA, Dr. Divine Igwe, the Chairman of the Board, Mrs. Elizabeth Ogbaga, other members of Board, and all the stakeholders in the health sector for contributing their quota towards the progress and advancement of health sector in Ebonyi State.”
