President Bola Tinubu administered the oath of office to eight newly appointed Permanent Secretaries on Monday, following their successful selection in the Federal Civil Service process. The swearing-in ceremony took place ahead of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries include Ndakayo-Aishetu Gogo, Bako Deborah Odoh, Omachi Raymond Omenka, Ahmed Dunoma Umar, Watti Tinuke, Adeoye Adeleye Ayodeji, Rimi Nura Abba, and Ella Nicholas Agbo.
As of the time of this report, President Tinubu is presiding over the week’s FEC meeting, with Vice President Kashim Shettima also in attendance. The ongoing session is being joined by other high-ranking officials, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) George Akume, Chief of Staff to the President Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Folashade Yemi-Esan, along with various ministers.
