The prestigious award, organized by Ebonyi Social Media Users, was presented at Citi Hub Abakaliki, recognizing Onah’s exceptional legislative contributions in 2023.
The event, themed “Let the Poor Breathe,” encouraged social media interaction. Onah, represented by Deputy Chief of Staff Comrade Samuel Ifeanyi Edeh, expressed gratitude, emphasizing his commitment to improving lives in Ebonyi.
He commended social media users but cautioned against spreading fake news and creating unnecessary tension. Onah urged support for state developmental programs and highlighted Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s achievements through the People’s Charter of Needs, pledging unwavering dedication to good governance.
The Deputy Chief Lawmaker in Ebonyi State appreciated the Social Medea Users for thier Contributions towards the determination of issues and events but warned against the spread of Fake news and unnecessary lightening tension in the society through overbloating of events.
Rt. Hon. Chinedu Onah equally harped on the importance of supporting the developmental programmes of the state government with their postings through the social media as they are in the forefront in information disemmination in the present era.
He highlighted the achievements of the state Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru through his People’s Charter of Needs which has put smiles on the faces of the people and urged the social media users to attach more importance to the postings of such programmes of the state government.
He concluded by assuring that he will not renege in his determination to ensure good governance through good legislation to the people of Ebonyi State.
