The Member representing Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah (OON), has on Saturday 4th January, 2025 joined the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, to the Thanksgiving and Empowerment Program organized by Senator Engr. Kenneth Emeka Eze at his country home in Amagu, Ezza-South Local Government Area, Ebonyi State.
During the event, Rep. Ogah lauded Governor Nwifuru for his remarkable leadership style, highlighting his ability to unite people across party lines and drive progress in Ebonyi State.
Ogah commended the governor for the strong relationships he has built with National Assembly members, stating that Nwifuru’s inclusive approach has ensured that all lawmakers, regardless of party affiliation, work together for the greater good of the state.
Ogah emphasized that under Governor Nwifuru’s leadership, Ebonyi State has witnessed significant advancements, particularly in empowerment, infrastructure, employment, healthcare, agriculture, and education. He noted that the governor’s efforts have had a positive impact on the lives of Ebonyi people and expressed confidence that the state would continue to prosper under his guidance.
The lawmaker also endorsed Governor Nwifuru for a second term, underscoring the readiness of the people of Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency to support the governor’s re-election bid. “The love and support you have shown to the people of Ebonyi are unmatched, and we, in the National Assembly, stand by you,” Ogah remarked.
Rep. Ogah also praised the governor for his support of Hon. Stanley Okoro-Emegha, the Ebonyi State APC Chairman, in his bid for a second tenure. He assured the governor of the continued support of the Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency in this decision.
The event saw the distribution of various items, including Toyota Corolla Cars, Toyota Siennas, Minibuses, Tricycles, Motorcycles, Grinding Machines, Sewing Machines, Refrigerators, Laptops, and farm inputs. The governor, along with other dignitaries including Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi, representing Ebonyi North Senatorial District, was present to distribute the items.
