Nigeria @ 65, Ebonyi @ 29: EBSU Alumni Laud Gov. Nwifuru’s Leadership

The National President, Ebonyi State University Alumni Association (EBSUAA), Chief Sunday Nwangele  has sent “powerful congratulations” to the Ebonyi State Government, celebrating the state’s 29th anniversary and Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day under the theme “Nigeria @65 Ebonyi @ 29: Cheers to a great Nation.

“The congratulatory message made available to SpringNews on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 in Abakaliki.

The alumni association focused its commendation on the high representation of its graduates in the current administration, celebrating what it termed the “undeniable reality: EBSU is in the driver’s seat!”


Addressing the Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, FNIOB, the association declared: “Your administration, Excellency, is the ultimate proof that the best leaders come from home. With you, the First Lady, the Deputy Governor, and a majority of your EXCO Cabinet all being EBSU Alumni, the quality of our institution speaks for itself. You are the EBSU Dream in Government!”

Chief Nwangele extended congratulations to the entire leadership, specifically mentioning the Governor, the First Lady, Chief Mrs. Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru, the Deputy Governor, Princess Patricia Obila Onyemachi, and the entire officials of the administration.

The association concluded with a prayer for the administration: “May God bless your tenure with lasting peace and unmatched progress.”
