The Executive Governor, His Excellency Rt Hon. Bldr. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has graciously approved the release of 2025 Promotion and Conversion.
Lady Oketa announced the decisions during the Commission’s 381st regular meeting. She commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his commitment to workers’ welfare and for the incentives contained in his administration’s personnel policies..
Lady Oketa urged staff across ministries, departments and agencies to familiarise themselves with the Civil Service Rules, the relevant schemes of service and financial regulations in order to avoid inadvertent breaches. She emphasised that knowledge of these rules protects staff from being disadvantaged by administrative processes.
Reiterating the Commission’s readiness to support the people’s charter of needs, she stressed that the governor’s administration is committed to justice, fairness and equity in personnel matters.
“The Commission has a great deal of work to do, so please avoid unnecessary complaints,” she said, urging clarity and proper documentation to speed up processing.
Lady Oketa said promotions are a motivational package that strengthen staff morale and improve service delivery. She called on administrators to prioritise transparency and to assist staff to address any discrepancies through established channels.
