The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has congratulated its newly elected State Executives and State Chairmen across the country following the successful conclusion of the party’s state congresses.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said the congresses were conducted peacefully and in full compliance with the party’s constitution and all relevant legal provisions.

According to him, the successful exercise underscores the ADC’s firm commitment to democratic values, transparency, and strong internal governance.

He noted that the elections, held across the federation, reflected the party’s enduring dedication to internal democracy and the rule of law, while commending members and stakeholders for their orderly conduct throughout the process.

The party spokesman praised participants for demonstrating maturity, discipline, and a shared sense of purpose during the congresses, describing the exercise as a significant step in strengthening the party’s structures nationwide.

The ADC also announced that the formal inauguration of the newly elected state officials has been scheduled for May 12, 2026.

However, the party stated that any adjustment to the date would be formally communicated by the National Working Committee in due course.

As the incoming officials prepare to assume office, the party urged them to remain committed to its vision and guiding principles.

The statement emphasised that the responsibilities ahead would require unity, discipline, and sustained dedication to building what it described as a strong and credible alternative for Nigerians.

The party further expressed confidence that the new state leadership would play a crucial role in deepening its grassroots presence and expanding its influence across the country.
