The Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Dr. Janerita Peters Foundation, DJPF, Dr. Janerita Peters has stated that the establishment and objectives of her Foundation are part of her service to God and humanity.
She explained the need for people to always find a way to give back to the Society as there are so many people that are in dire need of welfare and other essentials of life.
Dr. Peters who stated this in Abakaliki while enumerating activities lined up for implementation by her NGO in the months ahead, called on well-to-do individuals to assist the less privileged the best way possible, so that the world will be a better place for everybody.

The CEO of DJPF who will be celebrating her birthday within the week, added that she will use the opportunity to share food, clothes and other items to the less privileged in the society.
She noted that her NGO, which has touched lots of lives in the past and present, will continue to advocate for the welfarisn of the less privileged and disadvantaged in the society.
She called on Governments at all levels to constantly address the needs of the generality of Nigerians through robust economic policies and empowerment programmes, that will stand the test of time.
Delivering her birthday message, Dr. Janerita Peters who is also the Head of Unit, HOU, Centre for Extension and Community Services of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike, Ebonyi State, called on the National Assembly to pass a Bill mandating the high and the mighty, the bourgeoisie and the rich class to set aside certain percentage of their wealth for the upkeep of the less privileged and disadvantaged in the society.
According to her, the initiative will not only help to reduce incidences of crime and criminality but also give the less privileged a sense of belonging.
“I want to use the opportunity of my birthday celebration to reach out to the less privileged and disadvantaged groups in the society. We need to join our hands together to alleviate the sufferings of people around us and within us.
“Governments at all levels are trying but I want them to try harder. Let’s make it a priority to give to the needy. The more we give, the more God Almighty will bless us and the works of our hands. Dr. Janerita Peters Foundation is poised to meet the needs of Nigerians the best way possible.”
