The Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) has honoured one of its students, Kingsley Enwere, for his exceptional performance in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), where he scored 370 marks.

Enwere ranked among the top candidates nationwide in the examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The board had earlier released its list of high scorers, with Owoeye Jesudunsin emerging as the overall best candidate with 372 points. Enwere, who hails from Imo State, closely followed with 370 points, while Bamisile Emmanuel from Ondo State placed third with 369 points.

Reports indicate that Enwere has applied to Nile University of Nigeria to study Computer Science, while Emmanuel opted for the Federal University of Technology, Akure, where he intends to study Software Engineering.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by NTIC Media Consultant, Olumide Bajulaye, the institution described Enwere’s achievement as a reflection of its long-standing commitment to academic excellence and student development.

To celebrate the feat, NTIC organised a recognition ceremony attended by members of the school community, stakeholders, and the student’s family.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of NTIC, Fevzullah Bilgin, reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to nurturing academic excellence and motivating students to achieve their full potential.

“NTIC has always believed in recognising exceptional academic efforts and inspiring students to push beyond limits in their educational journey,” he said.

The school attributed Enwere’s success to his dedication, discipline, and hard work, as well as the strong academic culture and learning environment consistently maintained within the institution.

NTIC congratulated the student, his parents, teachers, and the wider school community, expressing confidence in his future academic pursuits and potential contributions to national development.
